The Vodka Vida Archive

The Vodka Vida Archive

This is an Online OPEN CALL supplementary for the April exhibition that will open at The Royal @ RSOAA on April 17th. This is separate to the physical exhibition, but allows artists to be included in the show on the RSOAA website and social media platforms. Even though we now find ourselves distancing, secluded, and separated from our community, The Royal wants to be pro-active in looking for creative ways to give artists opportunities. The Vodka Vida Archive is a group show that invites the viewer to step into the mental state of a teenager suffering from borderline personality disorder.

Unexpected Spaces Public Art Residency

UNEXPECTED SPACES PUBLIC ART RESIDENCY 2020

Calling artists with a public art practice!

Greywood Arts is awarding a four week residency 22 August – 20 September to support development of a public art project in the rural East Cork village of Killeagh. The residency provides accommodation, workspace, project support and a stipend of €1,500 to a visual, performing, multi-disciplinary or other genre of practicing artist whose project is experienced in the public realm. This year, the residency precedes Ireland’s nationwide Culture Night (September 18th) and we hope to celebrate the public art project that evening.

Don't Touch Your Face

Don’t Touch Your Face

So here we go, locked down and headed into the unknown. Nobody knows what the next hour holds right now. What we do know is that the creatives have a moment to capture and a story to tell. This show is currently planned to open in June. We are making this a long open call because we want you to capture this experience as it unfolds. Circumstances and information are going to be evolving or devolving on the fly and we want you to know, we are in it with you. One way or another, the show goes on.

This is an Open Call to ALL MEDIUMS and artists from ALL LOCATIONS.
