Looking for photography of Eichler houses in Palo Alto and San Mateo. Eichler houses are the California answers to Bauhaus. The submissions are for an exhibition at Art Ventures Gallery in Menlo Park, CA. Submission deadline is May 30, 2019.

Mural Honoring HIV Long Term Survivors

Openhouse invites artists to submit qualifications and ideas for the design and implementation of a mural project at the Openhouse Community Center in San Francisco, the heart of a new, long-awaited housing complex for LGBTQ Seniors. The mural will honor and celebrate HIV Long Term Survivors, and create a welcoming environment for community members and visitors.

The Mendocino Art Center (MAC) hosts the seventh annual Mendocino Open Paint Out (MOPO), a plein air festival. The Mendocino Coast, located along a beautiful expanse of the Pacific Ocean in northern California, is a spectacular setting for a plein air festival. Artists claim that the quality of light is unlike anywhere else in the world.

From the rugged surrounding landscape, to the bay and beaches, to the quaint Victorian architecture and water towers in the town of Mendocino, to the nearby vineyards and wineries, artists are sure to find abundant creative inspiration. EQUINALE - Horsefilm,Art Festival

The Equinale® is an international film festival for horse films and films, which horses play an important roll.

Entertainment films (films for adults and children), documentaries, advertisements and educational films are going to be shown. 

The Equinale Horse Art Contest is an ideal way to gain valuable exposure for your artwork, increase your confidence, and exhibit your talent to a wider audience.  

 

The competition is open to visual artists from around the world at any stage in their career. Artists are invited to submit in any of the following mediums: painting, sculpture, drawing, printing, mixed media, and print. Art submitted to the competition will be reviewed by a panel of expert jurors .

Applications for the 8th edition of ORA Award are now open

ORA Award is one of the longest running art awards in Italy.

10 galleries in the jury will select one artist each for a solo collaboration (solo show or other project) to be realised in the 2019-20 exhibition season. Additionally, Massimo De Luca Gallery, Venice, will host a group exhibition comprising 5 artists selected by curator Eva Comuzzi, president of the jury for this edition.

Each gallery in the jury will evaluate each profile impartially and autonomously in order to select artists with whom they have not previously worked, and in whom they are interested for a potentially ongoing collaboration.
