2026 NYX Awards: Season 2

The NYX Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work in marketing, design, advertising, and digital media. Honoring agencies, brands, and creative professionals, the award celebrates projects that demonstrate excellence in execution, audience engagement, and strategic impact.

The awards program is open to all creative and marketing professionals, individuals, agencies, companies, organizations, and institutions involved in advertising, marketing or communication practices, as well as media practitioners for internal or external audiences. To be eligible, an entry must have been produced after January 1, 2024. Entries may originate from any country.

This international design competition celebrates creativity across key disciplines — from Architectural Design, Interior Design, and Product Design to innovative fields like Character & Pop Design and other emerging creative categories.

We invite designers, studios, and creative professionals from around the world to submit work that redefines how we live, move, and experience the world through design. From breakthrough concepts to legacy-defining achievements, this is where exceptional design — and the minds behind it — are seen, evaluated, and celebrated.

AAP Magazine #58 Black and White: Publication + $1,000 Cash Prizes

Our 58th printed issue of AAP Magazine will feature the best projects showcasing the theme "Black and White".

 

Black and white photography evokes timeless poetry, nostalgia, and emotional depth. By removing color, monochrome photography emphasizes contrast, composition, texture, light, and form, revealing the pure essence of the subject. This enduring photographic style continues to inspire photographers across genres and generations.

CALL FOR ART | Art: Outside the Box

Artists and creatives of all experience levels are invited to submit original artwork for a public art project that will bring color and creativity to downtown Joplin!

This is an open-theme call. Artists are encouraged to create work that is visually compelling, community-minded, and well-suited for public display. Selected artworks will be reproduced as vinyl wraps and installed on three-dimensional utility boxes.

Suggested themes and concepts include:

  • Community and connection
  • Nature, color, and pattern
  • Movement, energy, and transformation
  • Celebrating Joplin’s identity in creative ways

Both literal and abstract interpretations are welcome.

Between the certainty of defined borders and the vastness of interconnected life lies a fertile space of ambiguity, where identities shift, boundaries blur, and ecosystems unfold in complexity.

Inspired by The Aesthetics of Ambiguity: Understanding and Addressing Monoculture (Pascal Gielen & Nav Haq), this exhibition invites artists to explore the in-between: a space that resists fixed definitions and challenges monocultural thinking in both society and our relationship with the natural world.
