J. Mane Gallery invites submissions for its H2O online juried art exhibition.

Water is one of the most important elements for sustaining human life.  We live on a water planet.  It surrounds us, and we cannot live without it.

For this competition artists are encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of water; the sea, the lake, a stream, the rain. The artwork can vary from realism to surrealism to abstraction. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best inspired art and photography.

AIR Open 2024

The AIR Open is back for 2024- this time at a new location; Rogue Artist Studios CIC. This means this years show is going to be bigger and better than ever before with up to 60 works being chosen for selection and up to £2000 worth of prizes to be won!

​This is open to any artist, any theme, any location and will be for a physical group show taking place at Rogue Studios in August-September 2024. Just show us your best work!

It costs £5 per piece to enter and you can enter up to three works for consideration. You will receive a paypal request for the entry fee within 48 hours of submitting. If you are a low income artists based in the UK; there is the opportunity to get your entry fee refunded if you can help invigilate on one of the days.

Clay

Ceramists around the world work with clay in a myriad of ways. Unlike any other material it has a plasticity and fluidity that can take on many forms and portray many textures. It can have an appearance of wood, stone, paper, glass, metal,…yet be of the same material. A medium as basic as this earth component, humble, elegant, surprising, otherworldly, with a history as long as civilization. What form does it take for you? Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of "Clay" at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.

2024 New England Regional Juried Exhibition

About the Exhibition

The New England Regional Juried Exhibition is a juried show featuring the best of representational painting, drawing, and sculpture by regional artists who work in the realist tradition.

The exhibition will be on view in the historic President's Gallery at the Guild's Newbury Street location, which features a skylight to allow viewing of artworks in natural light.

OPEN CALL 'ESSENTIAL STRUCTURE' MINIMALISM EXHIBITION

Gerald Moore Gallery is pleased to invite submissions to this year’s Open Call Essential Structure.

With artwork devod of pictorial and decorative content and stripped of external references, Minimalism was one of the most important and influential movements of the late Modernist era of the 1960s and early 70s. Its features included an emphasis on pure abstract form, specific materials, and precise, clean presentation. Its impact can still be seen, not just in the artworld, but also in design, architectur, literatur, and music.

The exhibition Essential Structure aims to survey the spirit of Minimalism in the work of artists today, and examine how its principals continue to inspire creativity in a variety of media.  

“Aquarium” Online-Only Group Show

Dive into the topic of water – marine life, waterscapes, environmental issues and more. All media. Artists may enter up to two pieces. Artwork will be displayed online at ocart.org and on a monitor at the OC Center for the Arts, May 2024.

Exhibit judge: Ricky Sears

Awards: Prizes awarded for first place: $175, second place: $125, third place: $100, and 3 honorable mentions.
