New Prints 2021/Summer Exhibition Open Call

New Prints 2021/Summer will be the 64th presentation of IPCNY's New Prints Program. Established in 2000, the New Prints Program is a biannual, juried open call for prints and print-based work created in the preceding twelve months. Artists selected for the exhibition will also be invited to apply for IPCNY's New Prints Artist Development Program consisting of three opportunities: artist residencies, studio visits, and sponsored coursework.

Apply online today! We encourage you to apply as early as possible. The deadline is 11:59PM EST on Monday, March 29, 2021. There is no fee to apply. The juror for New Prints 2021/Summer will be announced shortly.

The Call for Entries for the next edition of l'Alternativa is now open!

L’Alternativa, Barcelona Independent Film Festival, celebrates its 28th edition. We offer filmgoers, filmmakers and industry professionals a unique opportunity to discover and enjoy screenings and activities that value creative freedom, diversity, innovation, commitment and thought-provoking reflection.

L’Alternativa will take place from 15 to 28 November 2021, and will be a hybrid event: onsite* and online.
The main onsite venue is the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB).

Refresh Art Award is now open for entries! We're an international art competition, promoting every entry. 

  • £3000 Refresh Art Award.
  • £300 prize for 2 additional categories.
  • EVERY entry goes in our online gallery and is promoted until December 2022.
  • November exhibition in London for shortlisted entries.
  • £10 basic entry with additional entries £6 each for up to a total of 4. 
  • We take no commission from artists in our show.

2021 National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society Spring International Online Exhibition

The National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS) invites oil and acrylic painters from all across North America and International Artists to apply to our exhibit honoring the Best in oil and acrylic painting. NOAPS has been showcasing the talents of oil and acrylic painters since 1991.

This is an INTERNATIONAL juried online competition open to ALL artists 18 years of age and older working in Oil and ACRYLIC medium. Both members and non-members of NOAPS may apply. 

200 Artworks accepted into the show and eligible for awards

$4500 in total awards      $1000 for Best of Show

Run by Nat Ware (@warenat on instagram), an artist raised in the Catholic Church and attended 12 years of Catholic schooling, Residual Believers was started as a platform for other artists whose work has been influenced by their experience with Catholicism. Whether you no longer believe, have a complicated relationship with your faith, or are somewhere in between, Residual Believers is a place to examine Catholicism, liberation theology, and personal stories of faith through art and writing. Residual Believers is a quarterly publication, both digital and print, that is open call, and takes submissions at residualbelievers@gmail.com.
