Shatto Gallery International Photo Awards (aka SGIPA) recognizes, rewards and supports outstanding photography from all around the globe. SGIPA introduces talented photographers to the creative community in Los Angeles, United States, providing them an excellent platform to present their work to a new market. We encourage all photographers to participate in the SGIPA photo competition. Share your unique talents with the world and win awards and recognition.

Winners are selected by our respected jury of photographers and leaders in the photography world and are awarded the SGIPA trophy, cash prizes, extensive publicity showcasing their work to an audience, and much more.

RESILIENCE 2020

Virtual Exhibition
On View: July 2 - September 18, 2020
Open to: Hudson Valley and Tri-state area, including New York City
Deadline for entry: Monday, June 15 at midnight EST
Juried by: Bill Foley, Pulitzer Prize-winning Photographer
Entry fee: The fee is $5 for 1 - 4 works, $1 for each additional work up to 6 works in total. Entry fees are non-refundable. Free for GARNER Arts Center Members.

The topic for this juried exhibition is RESILIENCE in 2020. We are interested in seeing interpretations of the theme as expressed in the time of COVID-19, created by contemporary photographers at all levels of professionalism and experience.

Best Picture of the Month ( June )

Stories change the world
BestPicture aims to promote photography, photo based art and the best visual story to audiences all over the world.  
The selected works will receive the title: "BestPicture of the Month" and the works will be seen by our audiences from 200+ countries, including leading publications, galleries and collectors.

vistas:  glimpse, landscape, perspective, seascape, scene, panorama, scenery, cityscape, view, overlook, horizon …

Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme "vistas" to A Smith Gallery by June 29, 2020. Entries of 11 or more images are entitled to a review of submitted entry images by the gallery directors.  The entry fee is $38 for the first 5 images and $7 for each additional image.  Fifty to fifty five images will be selected for exhibition and shown in the main gallery from August 14 to September 27, 2020.  Receptions will be held on August 29 and September 26, 2020 both from 4 to 8pm.  A Blurb full color catalogue of the exhibit with all the accepted entries will be available for purchase.
