Just passing time

Thinking about David Lynch's analogy about catching an idea and learning by doing I came up with the idea of making an experimental short film. I was thinking about the time as the main topic. I would love to see how people around the globe would catch the idea of time on camera, in words, pictures, or even voice.

THE QUEER ARCHIVE FESTIVAL 2021

Introduced to the Athenian cultural scene in 2020 by the creative platform The Queer Archive with the support of Onassis Stegi, “The Queer Archive Festival” is looking forward to a strong comeback in May 2021 to celebrate the rich and vibrant queer culture of the city of Athens and beyond.

The second edition of “The Queer Archive Festival” will take place in a variety of traditional and alternative spaces within the centre of the city. In recent years, the Greek capital has grown into a genuine queer arts kernel. This burgeoning queer art scene does not only challenge dominant narratives, but also revels in the margins and the growing popularity of the fringes.

Open call for Holding Patterns (online exhibition)

Holding patterns is an experimental online exhibition that invites artists working digitally to consider the broader impact of isolation within the contexts of our surroundings. Noting the ways isolation has shifted our relationships to others, the environment, and ourselves, this exhibition seeks work that meditates on new forms of sociality in this moment of collective grief. As we contemplate the adverse effects of the pandemic, we have become more aware of the ways we have lost touch with our surroundings.
