Overview

This program provides space and focused time for musicians of all genres to concentrate on artistic development while working on projects that can be either individually or group/ensemble based. You may be working in your established genre(s), or exploring a new one.

In addition to having the freedom to structure your time around the needs of your project, you will receive artistic inspiration and career advice from well-established faculty (visiting artists) who will be in residence at intervals throughout the program. The visiting artists come from all musical backgrounds, therefore over six weeks, participants will have access to a range of artistic influences.

Short Documentary Film about Female Role Models

Who is your Feminista?

Feminista Film Festival celebrates female role models through documentary film. We screen films to inspire and to connect women and girls to role models.

We want YOU to be part of our inspiring line-up! What does that mean? This year, we are adding a new category of super short films called #MyFeminista, to unlock even more stories about women.

To participate, just create a short film (under 2 minutes) about a woman/girl who inspires you.

That’s it! No fancy equipment required! You can shoot and edit the entire film on your phone. Submission is free and you can submit as many #MyFeminista films as you’d like.

Deadline: 14 June 2019
