8th Annual “Open” (No Theme) Online Art Competition





Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for art for the gallery’s 8th Annual “Open” (No Theme) Online Juried Art Competition for the month of August 2018.  The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photographers & digital artists) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s September 2018 online group art exhibition.   

Light Space & Time encourages entries from artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field.  We suggest they submit their best representational or abstract art on whatever subject matter that they wish.  The deadline to apply to this art competition is August 27, 2018.

The winning artists will receive extensive worldwide publicity in the form of email marketing, 550+ press release announcements, event announcement posts and social media marketing.  Our goal is to make the art world aware of the exhibition and in particular, the winning artists’ accomplishments.   Links back to each artist’s website is included as part of this award package.

Artists will also receive a digital Award Certificate, Event Postcard, Press Releases and “101 Free Websites for Artists to Sell Their Art” Booklet” marketing materials if they place in this exhibition.  Interested artists should provide their best art now or before the deadline. YICCA 2018 - International Contest of Contemporary Art






The competition’s aim is to promote the enrolled artists, giving them chance to join the international market of contemporary art.

Internationality and networking make YICCA a huge opportunity for the artists, which can:

- Euro 3000,00 money prize to the first selected

- Euro 1000,00 money prize to the second selected 

• Win 2 art residences:

- 1 art residence in Italy - value Euro 1800,00

- exhibit the selected artworks in a exhibition space, determined by competition.

May 3, 2018: Beginning of subscriptions.

September 25, 2018: Subscriptions deadline.

October 30, 2018: Notification of winning artworks.

January, 2019: Final exhibition


Jury’s final decision will lead to a selection of 18 artists that will participate in the final exhibition at Prsten Gallery in Zagreb, Croatia in January 2019.

All kinds of art works are accepted, including video, installations and performances.

All works will be presented by a picture or a video that must be followed by a description of the work.

All works must be available for the final exhibition and have to be artist’s property.

The contest is open to all artists or groups of artists and professionals from any country. 

There are no special qualifications requiered for entry.
