Anthology Short Story Competition 2026

Established to recognise and encourage creative writing and provide a platform for publication, the Anthology Short Story Competition is open to original and previously unpublished short stories in the English language by a writer of any nationality, living anywhere in the world. There is no restriction on theme or style. Stories submitted must not exceed the maximum of 1,500 words. Writers can submit as many entries as they wish. Each submission will require a separate entry form and is subject to a separate entry fee.

Anthology Cover Art Competition 2026

Submissions are now invited for the Anthology Cover Art Competition. Established to foster and support both established and emerging visual artists and provide a platform for publication, the competition is open to multiple genres including painting, printmaking, mixed media, photography and digital media. 

Works entered must not have appeared on the cover of another publication and not entered simultaneously in any other contest or competition. Works previously exhibited or published on the artist’s website on the interior pages of a book or magazine are accepted.

Entries are invited from artists of all nationalities, living anywhere in the world. There is no limit to entries per person.

Anthology Photography Competition 2026

Open to photographers working at any level, the Anthology Photography Competition celebrates outstanding standalone images. It also provides a platform for photographers to showcase their work through publication.

Images submitted must be on the theme of ‘The World As You See It’. Submissions will be judged on quality, creativity, originality, and visual/emotional impact.

Photography styles can include street photography, landscapes, natural world & wildlife, macro photography, lifestyle, object and still life and architectural. Technically manipulated images such as abstract, panoramic, stitched and composite are also permitted. Extra merit will be awarded to creative interpretation of the brief.

All About Photo is pleased to unveil its January 2026 Solo Exhibition, Fay and Gay by Samantha Yancey.

This intimate photographic project explores lifelong companionship through the story of twin sisters Fay and Gay, born in 1936 near Pelahatchie, Mississippi. Never having spent a day apart, they have shared a home, careers, routines, and passions for more than eight decades. From building their home together in 1969 to dressing alike by choice, their lives unfold in a quiet, enduring synchronicity.

Open Call (Deadline Extension) | 2026 Taiwan International Print Biennial (NTMoFA)

Submissions are now open for the 2026 Taiwan International Print Biennial, organized by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA). We warmly invite printmakers worldwide—and your fellow artist friends—to participate.

  • Online application period: now – January 30, 2026, 24:00 Taipei time (GMT+08:00). 
  • Eligibility: Open to all nationalities and ages
  • Registration fee: None
  • Awards: Prize-winning artists will be awarded significant prize money and the artwork will be one of our collections at NTMoFA.

Hegeler Carus Mansion Steampunk Fashion Show

The Hegeler Carus Mansion is placing a call for entries for a Steampunk Fashion Show. Ten works will be selected for the fashion show on September 19, 2026 in the Grove at the Hegeler Carus Mansion in La Salle, IL. 

The Hegeler Carus Mansion, a National Historic Landmark, designed by renowned architect, W.W. Boyington and interior designer, August Fiedler, strive to create experiences that enhance the architectural history and family legacy. The goal of our 2026 Steampunk Fashion Show (a part of our 2026 Gala) is to showcase national textile artists and costume designers while enhancing the Mansion's impact through this annual event. The juror for this year's fashion show will be textile artist, Jane Case Vickers.
