Artist Residency in New York City - Spring 2020 - Register Today

NYC Residency Dates: April 20-25, 2020

Dacia Gallery is pleased to announce its Artist Residency Program in New York City. The painting intensive program will comprise of drawing and painting the figure from life, guest lecturers, a business of art course and gallery visits. Additionally, Dacia Gallery will host a group exhibition of the artwork you created during the workshop. The residency is open to all visual artists and will accommodate all levels of experience. Artists living in New York, national and international artists are invited to attend. HB Studio invites theater artists and playwrights to submit a project for either or both of two opportunities for the development of new work in 2020: the HB Rehearsal Space Residency, and the HB Playwrights Reading Series. Open Call R.A.R.O. - Madrid

R.A.R.O.- Madrid open a call for national and international artists who want to take up residence in any of our studios during the months of January, February and March 2020.

 

RARO. is a residecy program created to generate spaces for exchange, creation and dissemination. It introduces a format that has the peculiarity of being itinerant, receives artists and curators so that they can develop their projects in the different Ateliers R.A.R.O. of the city of Madrid, Spain. In parallel generates talks, meetings, visits and samples that complement each project.

Residencies in Latin America (Colombia and Mexico City)

Month-long residencies in Colombia or Mexico City. We offer identical programmes in both countries.

Fully-equipped, private, modern apartment. Separate studio space for production. Gallery space for exhibition of works.

Full artistic and logistical support given to the research and production stages of your work or project.

Full introduction to the local artistic community, if desired.

$1,500 US Dollars per month. This does not include travel or production costs. It does include basic amenities, staple foods and a comfortable, creative environment. Both locations are large enough to accomodate partners and small families.

Bespoke residencies. Programmes are year-round. All disciplines, techniques and media considered.

Midterm Break Family Residency

Midterm Break Family Residency

A new opportunity for artists and writers with children during the Irish midterm break February 15-22nd 2020.

We know many artist’s are parents, too. The logistics and cost of child care can make residencies a challenge – and many residencies don’t even allow children. We wanted to create an affordable week away where kids can be themselves and parents can get some much needed studio time.

Two subsidised residencies will be awarded, one to a writer and one to a visual artist.
