LAST MINUTE OPEN CALL

EUROPEAN ARTISTS

Scope BLN ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM, BERLIN

Deadline – April 7th (Friday) 2023

Scope BLN – Artists-in-Residence (AiR) program is announcing an open call to artists from Europe in all fields of contemporary arts.

The start of the program is in mid-May / first half of June, 2023

What does Scope BLN AiR offer?

AIR: Commons, Chaotic Fluid, Inspiration

The Nature, Art & Habitat Residency: An ECO-Laboratory of Multidisciplinary Practice is an art program hold in Taleggio Valley (Italy) and Santa Ynez (California) that aims to unfold and display a sensitive culture that responds to nature’s needs and uses nature’s insights as a source of inspiration and as measure of impacts on available resources. The ultimate goal of NAHR is to uncover intimate links between all living organisms in order to support more resilient development where humans and nature can successfully coexist.

Sprouting Spaces 2023

Understanding that the most critical and limiting component in an artist’s career is being able to afford space to create, Clementina Arts Foundation started a program to help artists land studio space in commercial vacancies—for free.

These spaces help the landlord through awareness of the location, involve the surrounding community with an open door policy, and provide emerging/mid-career artists with much-needed space to create.

STUDIO2 x tanz:digital

From 16 to 22 May 2023, STUDIO2 of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) will be hosting its artistic research residency STUDIO2 x tanz:digital. The residency is aimed at individual artists or groups of up to 3 artists from the field of dance (also inter-disciplinary). It will enable open research into artistic application of digital technologies.

STUDIO2 is a work and research space for the independent performing arts in Berlin-Kreuzberg whose proximity to the ITI‘s Media Library or Dance and Theatre and the associated Media Studio offers the residency project the opportunity to develop diverse research approaches at the cross-section of digital technologies and arts.

A RESIDENCY INCLUDES

2023 Young Artist Residency

In 2022, Bethany Arts Community identified the need and opportunity to support a longer-term residency specifically for emerging artists from 21-30 years old. In 2023, BAC welcomes their second annual Young Artist Residency, running from July 24 to October 20, 2023

This residency is designed to offer a creative home to promising artists as they transition and deepen their professional careers and artistic practice. With provided support from BAC, Young Artist Residents will be able to devote uninhibited energy towards creativity.
