Open Call 2025-26 - Residencies in Ibiza for artists and curators

This is an open call for a two-phase residency hosted by SES DOTZE NAUS and available to: one visual artist or curator in based in the Balearic Islands; and two visual artists or curators based in Spain or elsewhere in Europe. During the first phase of their residency, participants engage with the island through research and exploration, fostering a rich contextual understanding. The second phase invites participants to return to the island to finalize their projects: the artists will produce their works, the curators will continue their research, and both will hold public activities and present the results of the projects developed during the residency.

Dance Residency for Groups

Overview

This residency supports groups of choreographers and dance artists in developing new or existing work in Banff Centre’s professional studios and performance spaces. We welcome groups of  6 - 14 people to collaborate closely with in-house production teams -including lighting, sound, costumes - throughout the creation process. 

Up to 3 Faculty in dramaturgy, design, or production management may also be invited as mentors, ensuring guidance is tailored to each project’s unique needs.

Self-Directed Residencies for individual artists in the Leighton Studios

Overview

A Leighton Studio Residency offers creative professionals 2 to 6 weeks of focused, self-directed time in private, purpose-built studios set in the forested surroundings of Banff Centre. This competitive program supports independent research, creative exploration, and project development, with the flexibility to work in solitude or engage with Banff Centre’s broader artistic community.

Join our second winter writing residency season at Muijala!

Muijala’s artist-run residency and winter landscape offers the ideal surroundings for focus and inspiration.

The call is open for artists, writers and cultural professionals of all disciplines and backgrounds who need time & space to develop their text-based work.

We will host 3 to 4 writers at the same time. We will organise weekly peer-reading sessions during which we will read our texts, discuss what we are working on and give each other feedback and support.

 

duration: a residency stay between 3 weeks – 3 months during December 2025 – February 2026

Quinn Emanuel Los Angeles Artist in Residence

Residency Details

This residency is open to emerging and mid-career artists working in all disciplines across Greater Los Angeles. For four months the artist-in-residence will be given a studio in the Quinn Emanuel Los Angeles office to support their existing practice or a new project as appropriate.

At the end of the residency an exhibition will be held to display the works of the artist and at least one work will be incorporated into the permanent collection. A supporting stipend will be provided, as well as materials allowance. Over the course of a year there will be 2 residency cycles, each with a four month residency and a subsequent exhibition in a location deemed appropriate for the work decided on between the artist and curator.

Call for artists for 2026

RaumArs residency in Rauma city, Finland,  hosts one of the oldest residences in Finland. The residency programme was established in 1997, and a gallery opened in 2025. Now few residency periods available in 2026 to apply for independent work by October 30th, 2025. Months: January–February, (one room for 1 person), June (entire apartment, i.e. a family or two rooms for 2+1 persons), July, November and December (one room for 1 person). You can also ask about the possibility of August as an alternative to June.

The association offers artists the opportunity to work on your own art or with local people, help with projects, a visually rich environment and good partners.
