ArtGee is an innovative online platform founded in China in 2020. As one of the first organizations to investigate and promote NFT art in China, we are growing with the mission to build an ecosystem around digital art transactions, curation, auctions, investment, and other digital assets (NFTs). Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the founder and other curators;
  • Extensive online research on digital artists
  • Write essays on different artists and press-release for our online exhibitions, recaps on our online panel discussions.
  • Assist in exhibition/auction production and online installation & Work closely with artists;
  • Maintain database, manage inventory and archive of artworks;
  • Organize events such as online panel discussions, art fairs, and special events;
  • Prepare marketing materials such as electronic catalog and press kit - Develop marketing and advertising campaigns - Coordinate with local and international media, and art organizations;
  • Develop and manage social media outlets and other online art platforms ­- Research and develop art online presentation and sales platform;
  • Assist in social media operations (Wechat, Medium, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Creative thinking is crucial. We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of contemporary art/ Digital art and can discover innovative and interesting artists through research.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in galleries, auction houses, museums, or other relevant institutions ;
  • University degree in relevant fields (Fine Arts, Art History, Art Marketing, Art Administration preferred);
  • Strong interest in contemporary art and NFTs;
  • Strong project management and team skills and multiple projects management;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages; Photoshop and AI would be preferred;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Must be currently in Shanghai with a Working Visa
