To provide administrative support to the newly established Havering Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP), which focuses on the opportunities education and cultural partners can develop together to transform the lives of Havering’s children and young people and better promote the value of culture in education.

Initially, this role will work on two projects, working titles 'Havering Local Cultural Directory', and 'Havering Cultural Reward System'. The role will involve research, data inputting, database generation and maintenance, and website content inputting and updating.

We are anticipating this work taking up to 120 hours, to be worked across the autumn 2022 period as 1-2 days per week.

The Local Cultural Directory aims to increase cultural visibility and awareness of the hyper-local offer for individuals and organisations. Users should be able to search based on art form, age group and proximity to their location. This role will administrate the Directory, researching appropriate events, organisations and opportunities to be included and ensuring that all information remains up-to-date.

The Cultural Reward System is designed to increase engagement with a diverse local arts and culture offer, making children and young people cultural experts, removing barriers and promoting meaningful access to arts and culture through every-day shared experiences. This role will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the Cultural Reward System (which may be hosted on a website/app/social media platform, to be determined in consultation with young people).

Person Specification
Essential:
 Computer literate, comfortable with spreadsheets, word processing and learning new applications
 Excellent communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders
Desirable:
 A passion for theatre and the performing arts
 Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures  Knowledge and experience of working in Outer East London/Essex
