Based in Manchester we specialise in event and prop design, production & installation. Over the last 15 years we have run our own events which has given us the knowledge and know-how of how events work and what they need, in order to run efficiently and avoid the headaches that come with production.

From club and festival décor to restaurant design and brand activations we have gone from strength to strength to become one of the biggest uk décor and prop installation companies. After expanding quickly across the U.K our services now are currently in Dubai, Ibiza, California, Croatia, and Saudi Arabia, with plans to reach new destinations over the upcoming seasons. This list of customers is constantly expanding and growing.

Overview

We are looking for a passionate, and critical-thinking Construction Project Manager who will support our Production team in UK and abroad.

You will be required to schedule, plan and follow-up on site contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for third parties involved in the execution, development, and production of the creative deliverables.

This role requires organisation skills, flexibility, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while staying within budgets. The ideal candidate needs to have experience in electrics, floor installations and other sectors of construction. Strong communication skills are critical to success in this role as the CPM will need to communicate with a team. The right candidate will be a self-starter and have strong interpersonal and project management skills.

You will:

  • Manage all aspects of live event productions, both practical and administrative, including pre-production logistics planning,, equipment sourcing, onsite execution, as well as post-event wrap-up
  • Ideally Management of Gantt charts, budgets, and project tasks, and feedback processes
  • Liaise with and oversee clients, suppliers, and venues
  • Manage production meetings to creative, budgeting, and execution
  • Ensure quality across all our installations and productions to ensure customers have the best experience possible
  • Support the wider team in the development of new event concepts and production formats
  • international travel and work across time zones may be required

Preferred Qualifications

You have a successful track record of production management of live events with strong oral and written communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and pride yourself on your flexible, detailed, analytical mindset. You have operational experience, but also an ability to think strategically from a business perspective.

Candidates need to be passionate about the decor/ entertainment/events industry. You will have to be comfortable delivering results in an ambiguous environment, being exceptionally detail-oriented while looking around corners, and thinking bigger about how we create a compelling experience.

  • 2+ years of experience of project and construction management
  • 2+ years of experience managing teams
  • 2+ years of experience of floor installation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time and pull together multiple aspects of a project in an organized and efficient way
  • Have an innovative and solution-focussed mindset to identify problems and find creative solutions
  • Have a good understanding of technical production requirements
  • Curious, with an appetite for learning, keen to push boundaries and try new concepts, and the ability to pick up new skills quickly
  • Able to communicate effectively internally teams, production, construction and design
  • Experience in decor design, outdoor events, and/or large-scale events is a plus

This role is based in Norway with occasional travel to Manchester.

Salary: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
