Job Title: Senior Account Executive, Digital Marketing

Reports to: Director, Marketing and Media Relations

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the CEO with dotted line to Digital Marketing Consultant, the SAE, Digital Marketing, will be responsible for day-to-day client relations, execution of client social media and digital campaigns, support the advancement of social media and digital service offerings, development, and execution the agency’s and from time to time CEO’s social media channels, execute other digital activations including, but not limited to, influencer activations, video production, events, and on-the-ground content capture, and support business development through creation of effective marketing materials.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Duties include but are not limited to the following):

Client Facing

• Execute FITZ & CO’s digital marketing and social media service offering for various clients including but not limited to client email communications, content strategy, content creation, digital storytelling, community management, paid social media advertising, social listening, and influencer marketing

• Develop a clear understanding of our clients' key business and challenges in relation to social/digital strategy; and look for creative and strategic ways to solve their problems and grow the impact of their channels

• Occasionally work on site at client events including capturing live digital content, working with photographers, checking in guests

• Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of social media programs in an effort to maximize results and return on investment for clients

• Identify and engage social media influencers and content creators; broker relationships between influencers and clients, including support in drafting contracts, scopes of work, and on-site relationship management; track individuals in CRM (Hubspot) to maintain current and robust pipeline of influencers and micro-influencers

• Contribute to the production of in person events such as client cultivation receptions or dinners and virtual events such as webinars, manage external vendors as needed, process RSVPs

• Lead select accounts with limited Scopes of Work independently

 

Agency Marketing and Business Development

• Oversee FITZ & CO’s social media and digital platforms to ensure that the agency’s social media and digital presence reflect current agency positioning and business goals (content strategy, creation, community management and analytics)

• Contribute to CEO’s social media channels to ensure effective marketing for the agency

• Market the agency through occasional direct mailings, maintaining and updating agency Website content and visuals

• Contribute to business development with the B/D team through the creation of impactful business development proposals, agency capabilities decks and case studies, project managing responses to RFPs, ensuring timely delivery

• Track business development leads in CRM (Hubspot)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in FITZ & CO’s New York office. Due to COVID, we are currently working from home. Once health and safety restrictions allow, the Senior Account Executive will be expected to travel to domestic and international client events; and, on occasion, service clients’ crisis communications needs outside of regular working hours. Because we work across time zones, the Senior Account Executive is required to be available before and after normal office hours (M-F, 10-6) and occasionally on weekends. Every member of the FITZ & CO team must adopt and make daily use of office systems such as time tracking (Harvest) and the CRM (Hubspot and Cision).

REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years of experience with digital/social media account management, who has the following skills, experience, and interests:

• Experience developing and implementing social media, email, digital and integrated marketing campaigns from planning through content creation

• A demonstrated ability to create visually dynamic and impactful digital and social media content is essential

• A demonstrated passion for, and superb understanding of, the social media landscape, preferably in the context of the art world

• Previous agency experience is preferred

• Interest in the art world is a plus

Digital Skills & Expertise

• Extensive experience creating content all popular digital platforms, as well as a detailed knowledge of each platform’s tools and functionalities. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter required; YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Snapchat, and WeChat a plus

• Ability to measure and analyze key digital metrics (follower growth, impressions, engagement, share of voice, SEO, CTR, etc.) and experience use reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Instagram Insights and Sprout Social to report on whether a campaign was successful

• Experience in creating visually impactful and well written effective marketing decks in PowerPoint, invitation copy and direct marketing emails

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and website maintenance

• Experience with video / video editing programs is a plus Interpersonal Skills

• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) for both client and team relations: persuasive, strategic, proactive, diplomatic

• Organized and proactive timeline and production management, and ability to juggle multiple deadlines and client priorities

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
