Job Level:

Contract type:

$65,000 - $85,000
Application Deadline:

Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama is adding a production manager to work with the director of production and two faculty members in the Stage and Production Management program to mentor graduate and undergraduate S&PM students. This position is responsible for oversight of production operations and production staff. The PM will mentor student production managers and directly manage non-educational productions. Some classroom teaching may become part of this position over time.

While CMU is the oldest degree-granting drama school in the country, we work hard to be a leading voice in the education of future generations of theatre artists who push to reform the way the industry treats its workers while maintaining the artistic integrity of their work. This requires that we center the least privileged among us as we examine structures of the theatre industry to evolve from practices that may be harmful to nurturing and collaborative practices.  Please consider applying for this position if you have a demonstrable record of doing this work and are interested in training the next generation of industry leaders.

The position is a 12-month salaried position in the range of $65,000 - $85,000.
