Gallery Curator

We’re seeking an experienced contract curator to lead the planning, development, and execution of online exhibitions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contemporary art, exceptional organizational skills, and a talent for connecting with artists and audiences. This is a focused, manageable project ideal for someone looking to contribute their curatorial expertise within a concise timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and curate engaging, thought-provoking online exhibitions aligned with Henki Art’s mission and themes.
• Collaborate with artists and the Henki Art team to conceptualize and produce exhibitions and events.
• Outreach and review artwork submissions for exhibitions.
• Write compelling curatorial statements, exhibition descriptions, and promotional content.
• Manage exhibition logistics, including timelines and communication with artists.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a curator or in a related role within the art world.
• Strong knowledge of art trends, practices, and artists, particularly those working with themes related to board terms of water topics.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling through art.
• Familiarity with digital platforms and online exhibition tools is a plus.
