Operations Business Manager

Operations Business Manager- full time , freelance, Feb- Aug.

 Hire, negotiate with  15 + outside vendor contracts to construct a 70,000 sq  ft Pavilion , in compliance with Southampton permits department. Knowledge of art fair tent/ pavilion construction,  and interior walls/ lights gallery buildout,  and outside supplier of  power .in accordance with CAD architectural plans . Manage  and  oversee on-site construction process, , for 2 shows…approx 2-3 weeks, as well as being on-site during show operations for 2 events-  Hamptons  Fine Art Fair ( July 9-12, 2026)  and Hamptons  Jewelry  Show, July 22-25, 2026, re- using portion of same building structure .  Manage  onsite staff inside Pavilions during the fairs, , approx 35 freelancers, plus outside vendors for parking, , security, internet access, electrical, local fire and police departments,  and others.  Monitoring  on going compliance with town permits department . Plan and oversee all related costs in keeping within  budget. Reports directly to Executive Director/ Owner , while closely in coordination with senior staff member from other departments.  Must be customer service  and solutions driven.
