Craft Alliance seeks a change agent looking to build and grow this unique nonprofit entity. A creative leader with a vision that propels and cultivates the contemporary craft movement both locally and nationally will thrive in the role. The selected individual will have a deep understanding and passion for the arts and recognizes the positive impact that contemporary arts have on individuals and the St Louis community. As an enthusiastic leader, the Executive Director will inspire positive change and examine all areas for growth with current and future partners, toward long-term sustainability.

Some specific requirements include:

  • Passion for the visual arts; possessing a personal creative pursuit is a benefit.
  • 5+ years of proven leadership and management experience.
  • Experience in cultivating relationships with a diverse group of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in all areas of fundraising, including major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations. CFRE is a plus.
  • Proven experience collaborating with an engaged and supportive board.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
