Job Summary:
35-year-old picture framing business in old Torrance, is seeking a seasoned, motivated picture framer.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and help customers to design a framing solution for their artwork.

Cut molding with twin miter 12" saw

Join molding
Cut mats using Valiani MatPro CMC 150 mat cutter

Mount artwork

Cut glass and plexiglass using Fletcher 3100 cutter

 

Qualifications:

Must be able to hit the ground running.

Must have solid people skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Strong attention to detail and attention to safety protocols

Solid knowledge and practical experience of carpentry and hand tools 

Solid knowledge and practical experience of operating woodshop machines

Nice to have Photoshop & MS Office skills
