Gander & White Los Angeles is a full-service fine arts logistics facility serving the local, domestic, and international private client, museum, gallery, auction house and interior design communities. We seek an experienced, positive-thinking, and organized individual to join our staff as the Storage Registrar.

Primary Job Description:
The Storage Registrar will be tasked with handling the inventories, project management, billing and customer outreach of the storage arm of our thriving fine-arts logistics operation which is now spread over two warehouse in the Los Angeles metro region. The Storage Registrar will work very closely with the local trucking, crating and warehouse departments, as well as with our storage clients. This position reports to the Branch Director and works closely with all staff members in both the office and operations departments.


-Oversee and manage long-term storage accounts
-Maintain updated storage inventories and volumes
-Create and manage annual storage contracts and client agreements
-Create and send monthly storage invoices and inventories based on standing volume and monthly account activity
-Communicate with existing and potential storage clients
-Manage shipments into and out of storage
-Manage some storage-related shipments outside of warehouse
-Manage in-house storage warehouse activities
-Book and manage viewing room activities (not always related to storage accounts)
-Assist Branch Director with storage pricing and sales


● Experience working at a fine art logistics company, art gallery, museum, freight forwarding company or similar environment preferable.
● Thorough knowledge of fine art logistics, client communication, fine art storage inventory and handling
● Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, G&W proprietary Eos System and working knowledge of database programs.
● Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
● Thorough attention to detail.
● Strong writing and communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently, interacting in a professional manner with co-workers, vendors and clients.
● Available to work occasional evenings and weekends.
