Institutional Partnerships Specialist

Arena Stage is accepting applications for an Institutional Relations Specialist .

This role supports a growing institutional relations portfolio, including corporate, foundation, and government support in partnership with the Director of Institutional Partnerships. This is an externally-focused position that helps ensure a robust and growing pipeline and works to secure five and six-figure institutional gifts. In concert with the Chief Development Officer, Director of Institutional Partnerships, Associate Director of Institutional Communications and select Board members, the Specialist will help create and execute strategies and plans to identify, cultivate, solicit, service, and steward institutional clients for theatrical productions, community engagement, special events, and other special campaigns.

MINIMUM/CORE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience; Advanced degree preferred.

At least three (3) years of experience in front-line fundraising or business development, focused on institutional (corporate, foundation, and government) fundraising and strategic partnerships.

Exhibits strong relationship-building skills and is responsible for the account management of an assigned portfolio of institutional donors and prospects.

Must have a passion for the arts and be able to work occasional nights and weekends.
