Biophilia

There is a rich history of the natural world being portrayed in works of art dating back millennia, reinforcing the notion that organic life inspires and connects us. A national juried exhibition, Biophilia explores the beauty, mystery, and pleasure and potential dangers of nature in all its forms.

Fungi

Fungi are one of the most mysterious and least understood realms in biology. They hold the power to influence, sustain, and kill us. An international multimedia art exhibition, in cooperation with Brooklyn Mushroom, Fungi brings together a wide variety of diverse creative expressions, all inspired by the enigmatic world of fungi.

Cicek Gallery: Proof of Existence

'Proof of Existence' by the photographer duo Fotometro - Rona Bar & Ofek Avshalom - is a vivid exploration of identity, performance and the quiet surrealism of everyday life. Through a cast of imagined characters placed in familiar settings, the series blurs the boundary between the real and the constructed. Each photograph offers a glimpse into alternate selves - eccentric, tender and defiantly visible - inviting us to consider the ways we perform, conceal or celebrate who we are.

HORS DOGMA

CAN ONE (STILL) SPEAK FREELY?

What is the state of our freedom of expression today?

Is it under threat from the rise of fascism and the tightening grip of religious, familial, political, cultural, and ideological dogmas?

How do those subjected to oppression, diktats, and censorship carve out spaces to express themselves and reclaim their voices?

This question feels ever more urgent amid the profound upheavals shaping our world.
