Off the Grid

The BWAC summer member exhibition is called Off the Grid. The phrase evokes summer vacation getaways, to be sure, but it is also a phrase used to describe things out of the ordinary. In addition, there is a long history of grid patterns used in art. Many artists use them as a basis for balancing their compositions, while others use grid patterning within their art itself. There are examples of all aspects in this exhibition, in a wide variety of media.

Go Figure!

As the name implies, Go Figure! is an exhibition that explores the human face and figure, in all its complexity. Visitors are treated to paintings, drawings and prints that span the myriad of styles from Renaissance realism, to modern approaches and interpretations.
