The eighth edition of Photo London will take place at Somerset House 11th – 14th May 2023, with VIP Preview Day on 10th May.

 

Photo London is the leading international Fair in showcasing the very best of the past, present and future of photography, and celebrates the medium in all its forms. From emerging contemporary artists to historic and iconic masters, Photo London brings together exhibitors from across the globe, presenting images from the dawn of photography to new pieces that redefine the medium.

And They Lived Sadly Ever After

Collettiva degli artisti emergenti Hamish Chapman, Holly Halkes, Ray Hwang, Tiange Yu. Le loro opere sono accomunate da uno spirito umoristico con cui affrontare le vicessitudini quotidiane. La risposta alle aspettative proposta da questa mostra è l’umorismo. Prendere la vita più alla leggera e di traverso, guardando le cose dal loro lato comico può liberarci dal macigno delle aspettative insoddisfatte. Umorismo e ironia, inoltre, sono potenti tool comunicativi, che ci permettono di accettare e assimilare la realtà. Forse è vero che una risata salverà il mondo. Il mio consiglio?

Mo Yi è il nome d’arte di Yang Zhi, artista cinese proposta dalla MA-EC Gallery di Milano.

Un angolo d’Oriente al Grand Palais Éphémère di Parigi

Il Grand Palais Éphémère a Parigi ospita dal 14 al 19 febbraio 2023 la nuova edizione di Art Capital, manifestazione di successo che include il Salon des Artistes Français, il Salon Dessin Peinture à l'eau, il Salon Comparaions e il Salon des Artistes Indépendants, e accoglie oltre 40.000 visitatori e più di 2.000 artisti emergenti ed affermati di tutte le discipline provenienti da tutto il mondo.

Al Salon des Artistes Indépendants saranno presenti quest’anno ben 19 artisti cinesi proposti dalla MA-EC Gallery di Milano, che esporranno dipinti, sculture, fotografie e video.
