Secrets of the Art Business / Event 1

The experienced art advisor Daniela Duppen will host an exclusive event in partnership with SKT Spaces. During Secrets of the Art Business / Event 1 “How to be a successful artist” the art advisor will answer the most important questions about the art world through a journey with two major guests participating in this panel: Daniel Etherton, auction house professional and Laurence White, artist. We will go through strategies to achieve success as an artist, the role of social media and we will analyse case studies drawn from leading experts and how to approach the art market as an artist, the new role of auction houses and galleries in this ever changing industry.

Daniel Etherton

Highly driven, hardworking and both creative and entrepreneurial as demonstrated by the quality of his academic qualifications and his fascinating work experience achieved so far. To build a successful career in Arts and now as a successful musician, Daniel has worked with major players in the artworld from Christie’s, Saatchi Gallery & PwC. Daniel has also organised several pop up shows in London promoting emerging talents from Eastern Europe.

Laurence White

Laurence is a self-taught contemporary artist, best known for his vibrant portraits of the most influential people in pop culture today. Laurence is also the host of the highly successful bi-weekly room “ART” on Clubhouse, and has gained a large following on IG over the years.
