Sybarite Nights is Cabaret with attitude /aka secret cabaret in the basement

This special cabaret event promises an amazing bill, possibly including singing/comedy/poetry/spectacular drag/magic and definitely some insults! Join us on Friday 15th February, bring your (un)loved ones, grab a drink at our artBar and enjoy an experience like no other - you'd be crackers not to.

Our monthly cabaret in an art gallery setting is for everyone who enjoys live performance.

Resident compere beyond compare Lindsay Moran will be introducing the line-up including regular local performers & exquisite new talent.

Ruby Violet:
Ruby Violet burst onto the arts scene in 2018. Having dressed up in her mother’s clothes from the age of 5 it was high time she unleashed her true being to the world. A lover of musicals, Ruby has performed around the world on cruise ships but has finally settled on land and now performs at Leyden Gallery for the first time - hold onto your hollyhocks!

Trudy Howson:
We are delighted to present wordsmith Trudy Howson, who is the UK’s inaugural L.G.B.T. Poet Laureate.
Her poetry explores and celebrates her communities' experience, with candour, humour and love. In her role as LGBT poet laureate Trudy has performed at many high profile events including the London Olympics, Tate Modern, St Paul’s Cathedral and Sky TV.

William Patrick Owen:
Singer/songwriter William Patrick Owen whose new album is now available (First Person Singular). He will present new exciting material using reverb and looping pedals to create ambient textures for the songs.
