We established ourselves as Forked Theatre to specifically look at the choices and social assumptions we are faced with as modern women and provide a forum to share the different crossroads that come up in all our lives.
Simply by presenting about what really matters to us at junctures in our lives (from 20 to 80!) we have found ourselves developing a distinctly feminist voice. We can’t ignore the unavoidable truth no longer! In the words of Caitlin Moran;
“…Put your hand in your pants. a) Do you have a vagina? And b) Do you want to be in charge of it? If you said 'yes' to both, then congratulations! You're a feminist.”
