MASARY Studios seeks an individual with a passion for ecology, a strong interest in the arts, and an emerging expertise in carbon auditing to join our team for a unique internship opportunity.

Our studio is embarking on a project-specific public artwork at the scale of urban infrastructure in the Boston region. A major part of this project will be specific, targeted research, auditing and consideration of novel net-zero strategies. It is part of the artwork, and also part of what we are dedicated to do more broadly.

3D Design Internship

MASARY Studios seeks an individual passionate for new media artworks to apply for a Designer Internship role in Summer 2025.

This role is designed to support the studio’s Design department with weekly and monthly work as it relates to specific projects and internal departmental development. This professional experience is infused with how MASARY collaborates on artworks, events, and storytelling as a media arts collective.

This position will be a temporary, part-time 10 hours / week position with the title of Design Intern. The hired intern will work 1 on 1 with Design Director Caleb Hawkins and other studio members as applicable.

MASARY Studios seeks an individual passionate for marketing and the arts to apply for a temporary Marketing & Communications Internship role in Summer 2025.

This role is designed to support the studio’s communications department with weekly and monthly work as it relates to both external online marketing campaigns and internal departmental development. This professional experience is infused with how MASARY markets and communicates their artworks, events, and storytelling as a media arts collective.

Exhibitions Artist in Residence

$6000 annual compensation with additional opportunities for earned income available.

One year appointment, Aug. 15, 2025 - Aug. 10, 2026.

Full studio access.

Can reapply for a second year.

Onsite housing required in private room with private bath (no pets) and shared lounge and kitchen area.

BFA, BS or BA required, MFA preferred.

Must have complete working knowledge of exhibitions operations and equi pment use.

Work 15 hours/week in support of studio and Craft Center programs required.

Gallery Assistant & Sales Consultant

Volunteer Gallery Assistant and Sales Consultant (remote and during pop-up exhibitions)

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Volunteer Gallery Assistant to help run our pop-up exhibitions on-site and work remotely on marketing and sales of our artworks. This role involves welcoming visitors, providing information about exhibitions and assisting with day-to-day gallery operations during the pop-up shows and working remotely on generating new buyer/collector leads and accomplishing art sales. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the art world, meet creatives and be part of a dynamic cultural practice. This is an intern position with no base salary, but we are able to offer 10% commission on all sales.
