Grace H. Gutekanst (NC, USA, 1992) received her Painting BFA in March 2014 from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, USA. She studied abroad at The Burren College of Art in Co. Clare, Ireland in Fall 2012. She collaborated with artist, Craig Pleasants, on 'Si Tu Vois Ma Mère' at the Arlington Arts Center in Arlington, VA, and was mentioned in the August 1, 2014 Weekend Going Out Guide of the Washington Post.
She exhibited a solo show called 'The Cerulean Series' in November 2014 in Charlotte, NC,USA and one of her pieces was accepted into the The Joe & Joan Martin Center Permanent Collection at Imaginon. About a month after her painting was accepted into their collection President Obama toured Imaginon while on visit to Charlotte, NC. Grace H. Gutekanst relocated to Phnom Penh, Cambodia in March 2015. In 2016 she had completed over 10 commissioned murals and was featured on air with Radio One discussing the life of a fine artist in Asia. She exhibited at 1961 Gallery in Siem Reap, Cambodia and her exhibition "WIllpower" was featured in AsiaLIFE Magazine, The Phnom Penh Post, and The Cambodia Daily Newspaper. Gutekanst's newest exhibition 'Enigmatic' at InterContinental Insider Gallery Phnom Penh in February, 2017 was featured in the Khmer Times, Cambodia Daily, This is She Mag, and The Phnom Penh Post.
