Headlands Center for the Arts is a multidisciplinary, international arts center dedicated to supporting artists, the creative process, and the development of new, innovative ideas and artwork. Located in a cluster of historic, artist-rehabilitated military buildings just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the Marin Headlands, Headlands hosts dozens of artists and creative thinkers each year, providing studios, housing, chef-prepared community meals, and opportunities for independent and collaborative work. Public events at Headlands invite visitors to explore the creative process, meet artists, and experience works in progress across a wide range of disciplines and creative practices.
