Inés Sorlat is a young Spanish filmmaker awarded in 2017 as Jury Prize Winner by the Monkey Bread Tree Award (UK), nominated to the San Diego film awards in 2018 and winner of the Best SDSU undergraduate Film with her first short movie: "Lucy's Raw Eyes". ​ Her first steps in the industry where with the acclaimed distributor Jean Labadie who took her as assistant for Le Pacte during the 65th Cannes Film Festival in 2012. From then on, she has collaborated as production assistant in different films, photo shoots and shorts for a variety of productions including "Argentina" directed by the internationally acclaimed director Carlos Saura. ​ In October 2017 she successfully completed her degree in Film, TV and Media Studies at University Carlos III de Madrid and as an exchange student at San Diego State University (SDSU), named by The Hollywood Reporter among the top 10 Production Design schools in the world! Curious, hard worker, traveler, art lover, she is in constant need of creative input and is able to translate all her thoughts and imagination into visual pieces, from scenography construction to short tales or advertisement. ​ In September 2018 she moved to London with the objective to work as a junior assistant for Creative Art Departments.
