MADEINBRITALY Art Gallery is seeking a highly motivated, organized and team-oriented intern to work with gallery administration and operations, commencing mid-February 2019. Open to current and recently graduated students, we offer the opportunity to work in assisting and daily managing gallery operations.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to, preparing for gallery events  & exhibitions, working on special projects and collaborations, maintaining office inventory, as well as other administrative duties such as answering phone calls and e-mails. Considered one of the most active London start-up galleries, MADEINBRITALY has emerged since its opening in May 2016 as one of the top contemporary applied art galleries.

Candidates should be resourceful, organized, and punctual. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and knowledge of Italian language is a plus. A background in Art and Architecture, Design, or Arts Administration is desirable.

The candidate should be available a minimum of 2/ 3 days a week  for about 2 months. Gallery hours are 2 – 7pm and the gallery is open Tuesday through Friday with occasional evening events usually running until 9pm.

Responsibilities: - Basic administrative support (data entry, filing, scanning, and other office duties), research, running errands, and working on special projects - Assist during opening receptions and special events - Research artists and new prospects buyers and put together library inventory

Requirements: - Ability to multi task and problem solve - Self-motivated and able to work independently - Professional and personable demeanour - Fluent in Microsoft Office, photo editing skills a plus.
