MUSIC AND CULTURAL EDUCATION COORDINATOR

POST: Part Time (0.6 post, equivalent 3 days/22.2 hours pw)

Fixed term contract until 30 July 2020 (post will then be subject to review)

SoundStorm and Wave are Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole’s award winning music and cultural education services, hosted within BCP Council, leading the Music Education Hub and Cultural Hub for the conurbation.

The post is fixed term until 30 July 2020 and will support the team in delivery of its burgeoning programme of work, particularly the delivery of its Music Education Hub remit, plus other ongoing programmes and commissions.

It’s an exciting time to join the team, with a new National Plan for Music Education expected in the autumn, and the recent expansion of activities into Christchurch.

The person required should have significant project management experience, preferably in a music education or cultural setting, along with an ability to manage a varied programme of work. This is an exciting opportunity, joining a busy and friendly team at an important time in its development.
