Our client, a growing independent award-winning digital advertising agency, is looking for a super-talented Digital Designer with skills in animation and illustration to join their East Central London office. They are looking for an enthusiastic creative-thinker who is really passionate about digital design, illustration, and animation. Someone that can deliver beautifully conceived ideas as well as being a good hands-on designer.

The successful candidate will be creating digital assets and adverts including social media images, GIFS, homepage banners and videos for a range of big-name clients, and will be confident in their own ability to deliver unique and striking designs across a range of outputs. Strong knowledge of social platforms is key.

 

Essential Requirements: 

  • You have 3+  years experience working at digital and integrated agencies.
  • You are an ideas person used to creating digital campaigns with rich content.
  • You’re up to date with the latest design trends and you have a deep understanding of all things digital.
  • You have an engaging portfolio of work that demonstrates award-worthy digital and social design, alongside impressive illustration and motion work, experimentations.
  • You possess a solid understanding of storytelling and how to reach people’s hearts and minds.
  • You have an exceptional eye for detail
 and ability to use your strong Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects to create exceptional pixel-perfect layouts
  • You can execute a variety of design, illustration and animation styles.
  • You are an adaptive designer, able to work on a variety of platforms, from static social posts to videos, using illustration and photography, 3D, image libraries and stock, or bespoke film.
  • You are an excellent communicator and articulate your ideas clearly.
  • You are highly organised and able to manage deadlines effectively.

Your day to day at RANKIN

We are looking for a visual designer who will learn the ins and outs of Rankin’s archive, spanning 30 years of ground-breaking photography and film. 

You will work closely with a treatment writer and you will select appropriate imagery from the archive (researching non-Rankin imagery where necessary) and design treatments for Rankin Photography and Rankin Film pitches.

Pitches may include anything from music videos and fashion/beauty shoots to Rankin’s very own passion projects. 

You will be dedicated to working with Rankin’s archive and on occasions you may be required to design press releases and to help with treatments for The RANKIN Group creative agency and for Hunger. 

Skills and requirements:

  • 2 + years of experience in a similar field.
  • A fast learner who can approach work with confidence, creativity and diligence.
  • Strong design skills with in-depth knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Image research experience and an excellent for detail.
  • A positive, can-do and resilient attitude are essential. 
  • Ability to work to very tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Knowledge and interest in all things RANKIN and previous experience working for a photographer would be a bonus.

The London office of a digital and brand transformation agency is looking for a strong Midweight Designer with digital skills to join their close-knit award-winning design team, working across all of the studio’s clients and sectors.

The ideal candidate will be able to confidently come up with ideas and execute them across a variety of digital and offline applications, such as websites, campaigns, content creation, branding and identity systems. Description:

We are looking for pro-active and organised intern, who is interested in contemporary art practices and independent art organizations. We expect somebody with high proficiency level of English, while Spanish would also be a big advantage. The internship might be available at short notice.

Tasks: ​

About the platform:

AADK Spain is an international artistic platform, based in Blanca, Murcia, which aims to develop projects of research and contemporary art creation. It was founded in 2012 by performance artist Abraham Hurtado as a continuation of international artistic network AADK (Aktuelle Architektur Der Kultur).

The headquarters of AADK Spain is Centro Negra, a space for  implementing different programmes such as: the Residency Programme, Interventions, Contemporary Practices, Sonora and Cartographies. The main interest across all the programmes is to explore the notions of body, spatiality and territory, with a focus on experimentation and process.
