GG & POP  is a multi generational family retail experience for fueling ideation and iteration. We are a  Sustainable, custom design lab that creates fun toy prototypes for young creatives and adults looking for a unique experience in the heart of New York City. 

GG & POP seeks a dynamic Artist (Product Design, Fabrication, Fine Arts) specializing in paper, fabric and wood to support our NYC based team. 



  • Support customers aged 3yrs to adult in the planning and creation of their toy prototype in the design shop lab.

  • Set up, Prepare materials, clean up of the lab.

  • Communicate the lab experience to both adults and children as needed. 

  • Customize personal experiences for each visitor based on their interests and what toy they’d like to bring home that day.

    • This involves engaging in conversations with visitors about what they are interested in and for what ages and proposing relevant designs if visitors are unsure.  

  • Communicate and maintain a fun and safe work environment for team members and visitors. 

  • Adhere to COVID-19 health and safety protocols for team members and visitors.



  • Demonstrate strong sculptural/construction/fabrication talents with paper, fabrics, plastics and wood 

  • Prior work experience in any of the following areas:/ education, arts education, fine art industry

  • Excellence, enthusiasm, and excitement around engaging with children and families creatively

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Ability to effectively communicate the GG & POP design lab  vision and purpose to visitors.

  • Ability to create and problem solve in a  fast paced environment

  • Ability to work safely in a fast paced environment

  • Patience, warmth, joy, and humor

  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States

Founded in 2004, JRP|Editions (formerly JRP|Ringier, 2004–2018) has established itself as one of the leading international and independent publishers of contemporary art.  Partnering with artists, museums, galleries, and private institutions worldwide, JRP|Editions has built up a catalogue of more than 500 titles currently in active distribution.

In 2019, JRP|Editions launched its Multiples Department, producing limited-edition screen prints, lithographs, mirrors, and sculptures, as well as a program dedicated to new and innovative voices of the contemporary art field entitled JRP|Next.

About the Job

In order to support our fast-growing business, we are looking for an experienced full-time production manager.  The selected candidate will oversee all aspects related to the production of our art multiples across mediums including lithography, screen print, mirror, and textile and will monitor production schedule and budget.  The role is based in Paris, France.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the artwork development process: coordinating and managing the production process with artists’ studios and production partners to ensure each edition is produced to the highest quality, packaged and launched successfully.
  • Managing the production budget: negotiating rates for all materials and processes necessary to the production of high-quality art works. Keeping all projects on budget and on schedule and flagging any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Building up a strong partner network: sourcing the best-in-class art printers, material suppliers and production houses, and building strong long-term partnerships with them.
  • Driving quality and efficiency in our warehouse: collaborating with the on-site team to ensure our orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reporting: creating and distributing reports relevant to inventory management and production development.

 Required profile

  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to meet evolving deadlines for numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Sound knowledge of art production processes across mediums: lithograph, screenprint, sculpture, mirror, etc.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment where issues occur unexpectedly.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Commitment to JRP|Editions’ mission and core values.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
  • Interest in art and creative culture.
