The London office of a large PR-led creative communications company is looking for a strong Midweight Digital Designer to join their close-knit award-winning design team, working across all of the studio’s clients and sectors (Corporate, Consumer, Health and Employee).

The ideal candidate will be able to confidently come up with ideas and execute them across a variety of digital applications, such as websites, campaigns, content creation, and branding and identity systems. You will not just be a designer with a strong digital craft, but also a very creative thinker with the ability to take a brief from conception through to execution, whilst clearly demonstrating the simple emotive ideas at the heart of your work. You will be strategically-minded and commercially astute, heavily and actively interested in the sector and this agency’s place within it.

Our client is looking for a bright, energetic and enthusiastic designer who will add real value to a small team. A natural communicator, you will be comfortable interacting with clients to understand their specific needs, building strong client relationships in the process, as well as collaborating with other members of the team. This will include line managing, and mentoring, one or two more junior designers.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong experience working with well-known B2B and B2C brands, with a wide variety of target audiences.
  • A fantastic portfolio of top-quality digital design that shows flair and great design ideas
  • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
  • A broad range of skills across web, apps, games etc.
  • Experience of UI and a thorough understanding of UX
  • Ability to develop and craft typography and illustration
  • Active invested interest in the design and technology sector
  • Ability to problem solve, and adjust to changes quickly
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor less senior members of the design team
  • Ability to work collaboratively with wider account and project teams
  • Confidence to present and pitch creative and strategic concepts, both internally and to clients
  • Experience leading client workshops
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Naturally curious with a passion for the outside creative world and proactive in keeping up to date with creative and digital developments.

We are looking for person to train up as an Artist Representative/ Art Agent for our Marbella office, joining a team of 35 across the UK, EU, USA and Asia.

Or you could be experienced in this field so we can fast track your training and salary expectations!

Fluency in either GERMAN or FRENCH is a must followed by strong language ability in ENGLISH. The office is based in Marbella so if you have some Spanish it will help however it is a very international city so not essentail

An Art Rep is the middle person between great artists and great clients; so, you make the link, grease the wheels and basically make sure everything works out. There is an existing group of clients that you will eventually look after and there is a degree of new business development.

The Artist Representative starting salary is €28k.

Expect a long and lucrative career at Advocate Art (we have a very high retention rate), the market in kids and decorative publishing is buoyant and above all the people in it are great. We offer full training in a casual work environment, expenses paid travel -World Wide, London, Italy etc. (expect a stint of up to a month in the USA) and a bonus scheme to prove that we reward success and hard work. 

Working hours for this position is Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with an early leave on Friday.

Special Special is an art production brand, and exhibition/retail space in the East Village of New York. We produce in-house art editions, and collaborate with a wide range of artists and designers to produce and host exhibitions.

We are looking for a part-time team member to join our growing creative production studio to assist with ongoing and upcoming projects. Get involved in a wide range of exciting projects and work with our intimate and talented team of creatives in our daily operations. Must be motivated, responsible, and trustworthy. We would like for this to be a permanent role, following a 60-day, trial period (paid).

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and general sense of the artistic and creative markets.
  • Currently enrolled or graduated with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to thoroughly present concepts and processes involved in exhibited artworks to generate interest and sales.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite for photo editing and simple design.

You should be a conceptual thinker and able to come up with highly creative motion concepts, inspiring digital presentations, short-form content for social media, video and motion works for various brands.

Essential Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a motion designer in a creative or design agency
  • BA or HND degree in Design
  • You have an engaging showreel of work that demonstrates motion graphics
  • Engaging portfolio/ showreel of work that demonstrates impressive motion graphics including 2D and experimentation.
  • Strong understanding across all digital platforms and motion tools - Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate and Premiere. Cinema 4D is a plus.
