Production Description

New Paradigm Theatre (NPT), is seeking production stage manager for their August production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”

New Paradigm Theatre (NPT), a company well-known for its inventive productions that are presented with multi-cultural, multi-generational and multi-gendered casting is seeking a production stage manger for their August 19 and 10 production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”. ww.nptheatre.org

Each summer The New Paradigm Theatre Company partners with another non-profit organization that reflects the theme of the summer production to raise money and awareness for issues and organizations surrounding the community. For Disney's "The Little Mermaid", NPT is proud to partner with The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk.

“One of the interesting elements of this production is that NPT will be using trash collected in Beach Clean Up initiates and volunteer collections to create some of the sets and costumes for our show. If the Little Mermaid were swimming through the ocean today she might bump into some of the items we will be using in our sets and costumes and we are excited to use this concept to highlight topics such as marine debris, environmental justice, biodiversity and conservation” says NPT’s Artist Director and Broadway veteran, Kristin Huffman (Milford CT)

Candidates must have references and be able to work with all ages, and professional levels. Our tech and designers are all professionals but our two ASM's will need strong guidance.

Artistic Director and Broadway veteran, Kristin Huffman (Milford, CT), says, “New Paradigm is a theatre with a social conscience. We produce and co-produce events and shows that not only entertain with Broadway pros, but that also connect directly to our community.
