Description:

New Paradigm Theatre, a company well-known for its inventive and edgy productions that are presented with multi-cultural, multi-generational and multi-gendered casting is looking for a few actor/photograpers with actual cameras (flashes if possible) to help us stage a pre-show entrance for "Conrad Biride" in our production of Bye Bye Birdie.  The actor will pull up to the entrance in a sportscar and as he disembarks the paparazzi will go wild (along with our teens) and snap photos all the way thru the lobby and theatre.  PRE show gig only.

Production dates:  Three shows only!  Aug 16 (Friday) 7pm.  Aug 17 (Saturday) 2pm and 7pm are all performed at Black Rock Church/Theatre. Matinee will have ASL (sign language) interpreters.

You do not need to be able to make all three shows but please specify which you can make. You will receive 2 free tickets to the shows you can attend.

In addition to presenting this production NPT, a 501c3 non profit organization is committed to a “collective impact” production, bridging the gap between the arts and the local community by choosing a local non-profit that echoes the theme of the show: The American Legion/Veterans of Norwalk were the perfect fit reflecting the idea that rock star, “Conrad Birdie”,  is being drafted.

Artistic Director and Broadway veteran, Kristin Huffman (Milford, CT), says, “New Paradigm is a theatre with a social conscience. We produce and co-produce events and shows that not only entertain with Broadway pros, but that also connect directly to our community. NPT is know for producing shows which always include Broadway pros, local adult and youth actors as well as a team of professional directors and designers.

Please write to info@nptheatre.org by July 15 if you can help us with this fun "entrance".  We only need about 15 photographers and then we will cut off the search, so please let us know for sure that you are committed. We ask that once you are committed you honor that.
