Maake is an artist-run arts organization based in central Pennsylvania. We publish the print publication Maake Magazine, operate the exhibition space Maake Projects, and collaborate with galleries and artist-run spaces to curate exhibitions around the country. The magazine is curated by invited guest curators and includes interviews that showcase the work of contemporary artists and artist-run projects. Maake is passionate about defying geographic boundaries through a combination of print, web, social media, and events to include artists and projects from both within and outside major art centers.
