Roughly seven years after founding her namesake gallery in Seattle, Ibrahim and her program officially launched their next space in Chicago, September 20, 2019 during the latest edition of EXPO Chicago. The gallery’s new 5,000 square-foot space in the city’s West Town neighborhood doubles the square footage of the gallery in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle.
Mariane Ibrahim has hosted acclaimed exhibitions from leading and emerging artists including Amoako Boafo, Clotilde Jimenez, Maimouna Guerresi, Ayana V. Jackson, Lina Iris Viktor and most recently Florine Démosthène. The gallery has had an international presence at art fairs with acclaimed and prize-winning presentations.
