Statement :
Recently I've been exploring the limits of classical sculpture, print and portraiture. Here the works sit between reality and virtuality – rendered in 3D space. Here I continue my explorations of truth, mythmaking and the fluid nature of the past as well as the weight of our digital lives.

Bio:
Australian based digital artist Richard McCoy’s practice utilizes colour and pattern to create a hyper-real world inspired by kitsch fantastical objects, classical sculpture and vintage prints.
After showing his masters artworks at London’s Tate Britain, he works across fashion, print design, photography and digital art with the aim of suggesting alternatives to how we see the past, reality, and the transformative power of art.
My work can be divined into 'traditional' digital art, and more recent explorations of Ai software, focused specifically on fashion image making.
