Statement :

I am a Romanian visual artist whose practice moves between painting and graphic expression, often blending figurative subjects with symbolic layers of color and texture. My early work revolved around emotional chromatics — exploring how emotions manifest through the human body and how color can reveal or intensify inner states. These works investigated love, pride, anxiety, or melancholy through mapped color zones, turning the body into an emotional landscape.
In recent years, my focus has shifted toward more narrative compositions, often capturing anonymous characters, transient moments, or daily rituals in quiet coexistence with lush, dreamlike environments. I remain fascinated by human behavior and perception, but now I explore it in relation to time, nature, and constructed spaces. My characters often appear in motionless observation — reading, scrolling, waiting — placed between emotional detachment and vibrant, almost surreal surroundings.
Color remains central in my work — not only as a medium of mood, but as a form of contrast, silence, or symbolism. I work primarily in acrylics, building layers of transparency and graphic precision to blur the lines between inner worlds and outer realities.

Distortion
This work juxtaposes the silent, emotionally detached atmosphere of a train interior with the vivid bloom of springtime flora surrounding it. It reflects on how daily life often unfolds in emotional disconnection, even as nature thrives in color and presence just outside our perception. The figures are absorbed in their own routines, while the outside world vibrates with unnoticed vitality.
I`ve felt enoudh. I`m taking a break!
This introspective portrait captures a moment of emotional suspension — a still figure, rendered in soft monochrome tones, appears both distant and tender. A single blue flower placed to the side acts as a silent counterpoint: delicate, fragile, perhaps hopeful. The work invites reflection on vulnerability, solitude, and the subtle presence of beauty even in quiet, emotionally muted spaces. Through limited color and graphic clarity, the painting speaks of internal echoes, memories, and the calm that sometimes follows emotional intensity.
