Project Statement

The body is beautiful in all its forms and your body was once revered as a standard. Throughout the historical process, people try to find a common denominator– to define the beautiful and the ugly relative to the unchanging pattern. This project is body-positive. It is intended to tell our contemporaries that during various historical periods, from antiquity to the present day, ideas about the body, appearance and physical attractiveness have changed very much! As an artistic device, I chose allusions to famous paintings.

Artist Statement

I do fine art photography. In my opinion, art is a reflection of the world. I see the World and I pass everything through myself. In the end, some kind of “collaboration” of me, my views, values, beliefs, and of the World is born. I am interested in making projects on topics that concern me personally because I want to understand everything I do deeply. It is important to hook the viewer, to make an eye-catching picture. My mission is to encourage the viewers to think, perceive, reflect, feel, experience, react, empathise, to get aesthetic pleasure and to see their feedback. Their reaction itself is the most important for me, rather than its positive or negative sign.
