Statement :
In the realm of my artistic pursuits, I try to aesthetically encapsulate abstract concepts that elude tangibility, such as emotions, thoughts, concerns, dreams, and fears. Reflecting the main themes of environmental influences, childhood trauma, surrealist thought and generational transition. I strive to create pieces that narrate; the journey to self-discovery, our connection with the environment, the individuals surrounding us, and the immediate effect their existence has on us.
I enjoy creating pieces that are controversial, sometimes scary or overwhelming, as I want to evoke emotion. In my multilayered work, I attempt to create enigmatic scenes, depicting human forms or flesh-like shapes in vulnerable, private, violent, absurd, and perplexing compositions, to discover together with the spectator what it is to be human.
In a world characterised by uncertainty, art stands as my constant, infusing each day with a renewed passion. I aspire to inspire people and make them find a sense of belonging in my art.

As things evolve inescapably. Take a step back.
acrylics, oils and oil pastels on canvas, 120 x 80cm, 2024
inspired by Darwin's theory of evolution and the powerful notion of "The survival of the fittest". This artwork invites the viewer to reflect on the unbearable chaos of contemporary society, brain washing us into a society where the pursuit of success often feels synonymous with stepping on one another. Intertwined forms multiply exponentially to a never ending cycle of violence and competition driven by our survival instincts. By portraying the human flesh as abstract, organic shapes floating weightlessly in the air, the work strips away individuality, reducing the "fittest" to their simplest and most fragile form.
Unraveling into disassociation
mixed media, 1.60 x 1.20m, 2024
Exploring how the mind disconnects from the body when dealing with trauma. Through meticulous analysis and evaluation, I uncovered the profound physiological and psychological effects of trauma on the human brain, illuminating the intricacies of its response mechanisms, such as escapism, and the subtle interplay between logic and emotion. Our brain maintains balance by keeping us safe in its own beautiful but complex way. This piece works as a quest to find out how does trauma affect the brain, while it also works as a means of understanding the power of a human being.
