Statement :

My passion is drawing animals and my goal with each drawing is to create an emotional connection between the subject and the viewer. The eyes are the window to the soul and that is my main focus with each drawing. If the viewer can get a sense of the animal's soul, then I have done my job. The mediums I work in are colored pencils, pen & ink, graphite, charcoal, watercolors, and digital painting. My main focus is wildlife art and book illustration, but I also specialize in photorealistic portraits of people and pets.

Gray Wolf

The Stag

Bio:

I am an illustrator and wildlife artist living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Sedona, Arizona and as a child I was always drawing. My father was an artist and I knew that’s what I wanted be. After high school, I moved to Oregon and worked several odd jobs before taking the leap to find my way back to my childhood dream of being an artist.
