Statement :

Coit Tower in San Francisco inspires abstract, surreal, and representational art. It pierces the fog of collective and individual memories. My project demonstrates how this beloved landmark has sparked a variety of art styles. Each photo captures a landscape of thoughts and emotions and delves into how “seeing” is shaped by personal experiences.

Patricia Cannon was a Registered Nurse at UCSF for over two decades. She worked in various fields of critical care, including cardiac and neuro-intensive care, heme-oncology, and research. Patricia finds solace and creative expression in photography and poetry.
