Statement :

I am inspired by my experiences as a Jewish, Indigenous (Blackfeet Nation), neurodivergent (ADHD), and queer woman as I examine dystopia, delight, and delusion in society. My artwork considers the experiences of being othered. In my work, I reflect on the mundane, the morose, and the magnificently mad.

Within my practice, I use a bit of dada, surrealism, and satire to engage my audience and play with color and form. I like to experiment with art. Painting, collage, and mixed media allow me to delve into a world where familiarity and the unknown merge.

Art is more than a means of expression for me- I use my creations to heal, connect with others, and grow. My Indigenous roots help to ground me as I explore the elements through art.  My art allows me to think about the world differently, question societal norms, and consider a greater social consciousness.

queueing up for the count
the shapes and colors of life can be vibrant or washed out, energetic or listless, intricate or simple. sometimes i forget whether i should color inside the lines.
cirque du absurdité
american society is becoming a spectacle for grifters and clowns. politicians and the elite make decisions for their own benefits, namely money. capitalists, oligarchs, and imperialists care not for the wellbeing of society, but stuffing their own pockets. they are slowly sucking the color, beauty, and humanity from our lives.
this cereal is stale
My mind is amiss with creatures from unknown worlds and unseen places watching. To navigate where I belong is a tricky journey.
decision fatigue
I see America as an incongruent mess of competition. No one is willing to extend an olive branch; no one is willing to make amends. I feel trapped living in a society that does not reflect my needs or values.
After dealing with relentless red tape in the healthcare industry, I was inspired to make this piece. I have ADHD and have been clashing with my health insurance company every month for prescription refills, as they have decided to require prior authorization for this much-needed prescription. My anxiety only gets worse as I try to navigate a world in which neurodivergence is punished and seen as an affliction. Why are decisions about healthcare left to those with no medical training and knowledge?
