Artists submissions for the relaunch of E-commerce online gallery

Online gallery welcomes artwork submissions from USA-based emerging and mid-career artists for upcoming 2024 virtual solo and group exhibitions.  The gallery is committed to showcasing artists who specialize in the following mediums: painting, mixed media, photography, drawing, printmaking, and wall sculptures.

Prior to submitting your work, we kindly request that you take a moment to familiarize yourself with previous exhibitions on the gallery's website at LolaShepard.com. This will help ensure that the pieces you submit harmonize with the gallery's aesthetics. The gallery has a particular focus on artworks that delve into themes associated with philosophical and spiritual exploration, as well as those reflecting diverse world cultures and the natural world.

This show encompasses all forms of non-representational art from Cubism to Abstract Expressionism to Minimalism and beyond. Juror is Tre Michel, Co-Owner, State of the Arts Gallery, Sarasota.

Abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead uses shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect.

Some noteworthy abstract artists include: Kazimir Malevich, Hilma af Klint, Helen Frankenthaler, Sam Gilliam, Pablo Picasso, Barbara Hepworth, Robert Delaunay, Piet Mondrian, Willem de Kooning, Mark Rothko, Lee Krasner, and Cy Twombly.

BitGlim, a digital art company known for captivating displays in public spaces and businesses, is excited to announce their March Open Call for creative animated content. We're searching for animations that embrace the themes of abstract art, surrealism, and the changing seasons. The content must be less than one minute long and in high resolution, and must relate to at least one of the monthly themes. Selected applicants will not only receive a cash prize, but also have the opportunity to display their work to large audiences and become a member of our animation platform.
