The Brookline Arts Center is requesting submissions from local, wearable art designers and artists for our upcoming exhibition in honor of our late board chair, Mika Hornyak. The exhibition will take place this March of 2022 and will include a celebratory, hybrid opening reception. This show is inspired by one of Mika’s great enthusiasms: wearable art. All media and types of wearable art including jewelry, accessories, clothing, etc. will be considered. Submissions will be reviewed by our guest juror, Lillian Lambrechts, recently retired Bank of America Senior Vice President, Manager of Corporate Art Program, and Global Head Curator.
